Tado Steak House Manager
SUMMARY: To provide leadership and direction to staff and oversee operations. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in the departments guest service standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Follow established performance standards which define exceptional guest service
? Assist in developing policies, procedures and reports designed to achieve revenue and profit goals
? Hire, coach and develop staff and direct daily work activities and ensure conformance to standards
? Collaborate with and assist Director to develop annual budget, and maintain controls on financial operation for food departments
? Review and revise menus to reflect sales growth and seasonal trends while meeting established financial guidelines
? Complete all administrative paperwork in a thorough and timely manner
? Establish and exceed standards of food quality and cleanliness for front and back of house operations
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
? High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
? 4 year degree in Hospitality or related field; or 5 years management experience in a high-volume buffet; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills
Required:
? Accurate and detail-oriented
? Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
? Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred:
? Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows XP

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
? Must be able to walk and / or stand and sit for long periods throughout the day
? Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel and stoop occasionally
? Must be able to reach and twist routinely
? Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally
? Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
? Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
? Must have good eye hand coordination
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
? Office, restaurant, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
? Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters
? Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
? Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
? High volume direct public contact
