Vintage Base Ball
The Dakota County Historical Society will host a vintage base ball match at Pioneer Park in Hastings, Minnesota. The match will consist of rules used during the year of 1860, when the game of base ball started to formalize and spread throughout the country. Members from surrounding Minnesota (Rum River Rovers, Afton Red Socks) and Wisconsin (Menomonie Blue Caps) will participate with a mix of Dakota County residents.
