Scheibel has served on many boards in an effort for community initiatives\, including the Congressional Hunger Center\, The Association of Metropolitan Municipalities\, and was nominated by former president Bill Clinton to be the director of ACTION. Scheibel now serves as a professor of practice at the Hamline School of Business\, focusing on nonprofit management and public administration.
