DESCRIPTION:The Affinity Plus Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. This year\, the foundation will be awarding eight\, $5\,000 scholarships to student members of Affinity Plus. In an effort to maximize the reach and impact of the scholarships\, a scholarship will be given to two students from each of the following student categories:   incoming freshmen   upperclassmen   nontraditional   graduate Applicants are able to self-select the category from which they would like to be considered. The online application is open now through January 31\, 2017. Applicants must be a primary member of Affinity Plus and provide transcripts and an essay response. Nontraditional and graduate students also need to submit two letters of recommendation. Scholarship dollars awarded are intended for expenses for the 2017-2018 school year.
